The drive back and forth from LA to Irvine is becoming more and more like a Raging Waters ride. Water splashes from drivers speeding past from the opposite side of the divider, water splashes down from the highway overpasses (who knew? It scared the living shit out of me when I heard a spurkat-THUDthudthud on my car roof this morning), and the drive gets hazy from the water slipping behind the tires into a thick mist. Ugh. Water water everywhere. I don't like water unless sunshine and a pina colada is involved.
Since I'm feeling a little grim and under the weather...I found this slightly eerie yet beautiful image inspiring. By Tim Burton, of course. =)

Doesn't this weather make you want to just sink into your couch and cuddle to some fine reads with a steamy

p.s. i dyed my hair for part two of my ombre journey yesterday! It's becoming quite the three-step process, but I think it will turn out great and i'm loving how my hair can have different looks in between. =) I've perfected the skill for dyeing black asian hair from my years of experience since middle school. haha believe me, I can do blonde, purple, every shade of red and brown...next step...blue hair! (i'm not joking, sometime in the future i want blue hair). I love being pampered at salons, but I've yet to find a colorist that I trust and love since my last one moved to the other side of the nation when I was in high school. *tears* If you know a free-spirited risk taker that doesn't break the bank, let me know. (Is that too much to ask?)
Whoa, that was a tangent. Back to last night: The plan was to get my hair like the brown to blonde ombre illustrated in my dedicated hair post Nov 3 (reminisce here). I started by having a black to light brown ombre because I didn't want to risk the blonde tips and get neon orange... so I opted to sport the Megan Fox esque one. Maybe the rain was getting to me because the dark was getting too grim so I dyed my whole head with light ash blonde, which gave me a light brown slightly lighter than the girl in the first photo of the post. In a couple of weeks I'm going to use 9A very light ash blonde on my tips. Aaaaaand then, in a couple of months when my roots grow out...prolly do the drew barrymore! *sigh I love being a girl. And having resilient hair. Otherwise I'd have fried hay as hair! *knock on wood*
fashionising, tfs
