Ahhh. This hair looks great on you! Being Asian I'm just so skeptical of dying my hair anywhere near blonde! Cause sometimes I see these asian girls with BLONDE hair or like dyed brown hair that's faded to orange and I'm like eek, that looks awful or desperate. But you pull it off just fine. So hmmm..

What do you think about it??

P.S. I replied to your comment on my blog!

Hi Anna-Lee and Jesse--

So funny you ask because just last night I bought and tried the most AMAZING conditioner!! Nexus "Split end mender conditioner". It's really thick and lustrous and after using it once my hair definitely feels awesome.

But i have to admit I'm pretty lucky that my hair isn't that fried even though I've done horrible things to my hair. I think the secret is that I always air dry and rarely curl or straighten my hair.

Thanks for stopping by! =)

Wow, it turned out amazing. I just finished ombre-ing my own hair, so naturally I've been googling the heck out of my own series of issues (my own chronicles/posts are over at misscabrina.com).
I ran into the orange-hair problem myself and I'm debating which route to take to fix it.

May I inquire which shade of ash blonde hair dye you used? It turned out lovely!

Hi Punita,

Thanks for the compliments. =) I use SATIN care dye in 10A very light ash blonde. That should work! I recently did my roots and I actually bought some SEMI developer to put over my recent dye job to tone the brassiness on top. I'm mixing the semi with the 9A light ash blonde to neutralize it without damaging my hair. (a semi is a semi-permanent)

Best,
Alexandra
